Norcross, GA  ViaSat Inc. (NASDAQ: VSAT) is supplying a LinkStar® broadband network to CELCOM, through network integrator Digisky (M) Sdn. Bhd, for shared-hub satellite network services in Malaysia. The CELCOM will also include ViaSat hub software that makes the network compatible with the Digital Video Broadcast Return Channel Satellite (DVB-RCS) international standard for interoperability.

CELCOM plans to offer network services from a hub located in Kuala Lumpur for applications that need fast access and low-rate transactional data such as banking, equity trading, and data acquisition, as well as high-speed, secure virtual private networks for enterprise customers.

“ViaSat LinkStar broadband network has given CELCOM an edge in term of VSAT technological advance. This will enable CELCOM to meet its objectives in providing efficient and reliable VSAT services to its customer in the fast growing VSAT market in Malaysia,” said Mr. Jasri Jamaludin, Managing Director of Digisky (M) Sdn.Bhd.

Back with solid experiance in telecommunication related industry, RTM has awarded a turnkey contract to DIGISKY to upgrade the existing Broadcasting Facilities. This project is important to ensure that RTM will equip with the latest technology and equipment. The project has been successfully completed in Jan 2003.
